Pausing, resuming, and editing a running campaign

Pausing

You can pause a running campaign at any time. Pausing stops further sends. It deletes nothing — your audience, copy, and reply history are untouched.

Resuming

Resuming re-runs the safety gates. A campaign whose plan lapsed while it was paused will not silently start sending again.

Editing a live campaign

You can revise copy on a launched campaign. The revision goes through approval again and updates the sequence in place.

People already mid-sequence continue on the updated steps — they do not restart, and they do not get the old version.

Automatic pauses

Some pauses are intentional:

Buffering before first send — staged paused while the audience tops up to the minimum. Goes live on its own.

Audience expansion review — a substantial audience change waits for a human to look at it. By design.

Plan inactive — sending stops when a plan lapses. Update the card and it resumes.

If your campaign paused and none of these fit, contact support with the campaign name.

Follow-ups

Follow-ups stop automatically when someone replies, whether or not the campaign is paused.
