Your first campaign, step by step

1. Finish your company profile

Campaigns cannot be created until your booking link, reply email, and profile sync are done.

2. Create a campaign

Campaigns → New, or open one of the starter drafts suggested during onboarding.

3. Write the brief

A sentence or two naming a role, a kind of company, and usually a place. "Operations managers at freight brokerages in the Midwest."

4. Build it

Sourcing runs in the background and can take up to 20 minutes, longer for large or unusual segments. You can close the tab.

5. Review the audience

Matched people appear ranked best-first with the reasoning for each. Use Universe to see everything that matched, not just the contactable slice.

If the targeting is wrong, fix the brief and search again. Refining is free and unlimited.

6. Read the copy

Read the whole sequence, not just the first email. Edit anything, or ask for a scoped revision.

7. Approve, then launch

Approving locks the copy and runs contact verification. Launching sends it to your inboxes to go out on a schedule.

Realistic expectations

  • Two or three passes at the brief before the audience is good is normal — and free.
  • New sending domains warm up first, so early volume ramps.
  • Cold email replies arrive over days. Judge a campaign on a full sequence, not the first morning.
